Kodak i1440 A3 Duplex

Kodak's A3 models i1410 and i1420, simplex and duplex respectively, offer speeds up to 60 sheets per minute scanning A4 documents in landscape, and the i1440 duplex model up to 75 sheets per minute.
3D ultrasonic multifeed detection is standard on all models to ensure that documents are separated properly when scanned. Each camera (one for each side) is equipped with two lamps to minimize shades caused by folds and dust.

All models have true 600 dpi optical resolution in colour, greyscale or black and white. Images are descewed, cropped and readability enhanced through Kodak's Perfect Page and iThresholding technologies without changing the scanner settings. The i1440 comes with additional functions for efficient processing of various documents.

Document sizes from business cards to A3 and 34 inches (864 mm) long documents are accepted and a touch application scans to file, email, printers or other applications with a single click. The i1420 and i1440 include post imprinters to print tracking information on the documents while being scanned (Note: Ink cartridge holder and ink cartridge have to be purchased separately to operate the imprinter).

All models offers small footprint for desk top use. Optional A3 and A4 flatbeds are used for thick documents, book pages, etc. when necessary. When not in use they can easily be disconnected and stored away.

The USB-2 interface ensures easy connection to most computers.


Working environment:
The i1400 models are recommended for office environment where up to 7.500 documents per day are scanned, or 10.000 per day for the i1440. The small footprint and the optional flatbeds make them all well suited for all sorts of documents typically handled in the office.
