Canon DR-4010C A4 Duplex

This compact scanner offers comfortable front operation for normal documents, but also a selectable straight path for thick documents such as carton, envelops, etc., including common plastic cards such as credit cards, bonus cards, health insurance cards, etc. It is designed for easy operation and buttons can be pre-programmed for routine jobs.
Easy selectable scan modes provide image enhancement functions allowing documents otherwise difficult to scan to be processed, i.e. documents with patterned background, light text on light background, etc. The bleed through function reduces the effect of backside print being visible on the front when scanning thin documents. Auto colour detection reduces the need for pre-sorting by detecting black-and-white and coloured documents and scans them accordingly. The ultrasound multi-feed detection reliably prevents simultaneous feeding of two or more documents sticking together due to glue, staples, etc., ensuring that the front and back images originate from the same document.

The scanning speed is 42 A4 documents per minute at 200 dpi resolution, in simplex or duplex, in B&W, greyscale or colour. Maximum resolution is 600 dpi, feeder capacity is 100 sheets and documents up to 1000 mm length may be scanned.

Dual interface offers connectivity alternatives, USB 2.0 for easy connection, or SCSI when preferred.

Working environment:
Ideal desktop scanner for personal and departmental use in office environment applications where flatbed is not needed. The selectable straight through paper path increases versatility allowing thick documents and plastic cards to be scanned.
